Mon Secretariat Online

By a Swiss woman who became an Expatriate and Nomad

Hi. My name is Suzanne.

I am the publisher, author and founder of this website. In addition of being a part-time apprentice blogger, I am also…

An expatriate

In 2012, I left Switzerland, my country of birth, to join my spouse who was moving to Malaysia. I chose that day to quit my job, to adopt his “semi-nomadic” lifestyle and to support him everywhere my skills could do so.

A traveller

Mauritius Island (2006)

I fly about 20 times a year. I spend more than 6 months in Malaysia, 2 months in Switzerland, 1 month in New York, near my daughter-in-law and the rest of the year… it depends… of our opportunities and desires.

To date I have visited nearly 40 countries: Austria, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Mauritius, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Laos, Macao (China), Malaysia, Martinique, Mexico, Monaco, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tunisia, USA, Vatican, Vietnam.

A digital nomad aware of telework issues

Pierredar Refuge – Switzerland (2010)

I am a qualified hotelier who enjoy learning and playing. It was therefore quite naturally that I self-taught myself in computer and digital tools.

Today, in our team, I am responsible for the following sectors: IT & Telecommunications, Travel & Logistics, and also Administration & Accounting.

Regardless of the country in which we are, my spouse must be able to do his job and be in contact with Switzerland.

You will find here :

  • Articles as it is the basic principle of a blog;
  • Tools and services that have allowed me to transform my traditional administration into a nomad administration that is always with me;
  • Links to reference websites for the construction of your own website or the organization of a trip;
  • Resources to download;
  • Stories of experiences as an expatriate and traveller;
  • And many other things depending how much I get inspired…
