We have come to the end of this 24-day series about the daily IT security. It is a very broad subject, which can be deepening without ever seeing the end.
The more we put systems and barriers in place to protect us, the more hackers find new ways to cross them. The more they break our protections, the more we seek ways to protect ourselves.
This does not mean that nothing should be done. The difficulty lies in finding the right balance, tailored to your needs.
For the final word, I will base myself on the Pareto equation and say:
“Let’s invest 20% effort and resources, where it will provide us with 80% effective security.”
